John 14:1-3 by Marshall Thompson
Series:

Our Only Hope In A Time Of Trouble

John 14:1-3

Introductory Notes;

John 14:6, may very well be the thesis statement of the the entire Word of God?  Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth and the life, no man comets unto the Father but by me."

"A sermon should be deep enough, that the world's greatest theologians can swim in it and never touch the bottom, yet shallow enough, that the youngest child could wade into into it and never fear drowning."....Augustine

"Going out to meet trouble is life's shortest walk."

Sometimes we get into trouble by choosing the wrong path.

Psalm 23:3, King David, said, "He restoreth my soul: He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for His name's sake."

"The Christian life, at times, is like a series of storms and troubles."  "We are either in a storm, we've just come out of a storm, or we are headed into a storm."....Dr. Bill Stafford

"This know also, that in the last days, perilous times shall come."....II Timothy 3:1
