Riverstone Relaunch Preparedness - May 31, 2020
As we prepare for our return to Riverstone to gather together IN PERSON, here are some things you should know:
1-Your Parking; Our Parking And Security Team will be ready to meet you, greet you, and park you, when you return to Riverstone! Our team will even “Socially Distance” your car with wider areas between vehicles.
2 - Your Entrance; Our “Greeter Team” will welcome you back to your church. Albeit, it will be from a safe distance. The day will come when we will be able to once again hug necks, and shake hands, but that day is not May 31st. We will want to look out for one another and give each other a little space.
3 - Masks And Gloves; If you are comfortable wearing a mask and possibly, gloves, that is a very good thing. However, they are not mandatory and you need to know that many will more than likely choose not to do so.
4 - Sanitization; In addition to our “Housekeeping Team” deep cleaning our building, you’ll also find hand sanitizing stations as you enter our lobby, as well as our auditorium.
5 - Hospitality; The day will come that we are once again able to enjoy coffee and breakfast foods but that day is not May 31st. Until the time is right, we will forego these things with the safety and good health of our fellow “Stonians,” as our highest priority.
6 - Our Worship Service; You can expect wonderful praise and worship, as well as “Powerful Preaching!” That will not change. What will be adjusted is more space and room between seats, a temporary cancellation of our “Welcome Time,” and a bit more consciousness of our interaction with each other in the auditorium. Greeters wearing gloves, will open and close doors for you as you enter and exit the auditorium.
7 - Exiting The Stone; We simply encourage you to be mindful of others as you leave. There will come a day that we can hang out and fellowship inside and outside of the building as good “Stonians” do, but that day is not May 31st. When the service concludes, let’s try and contain our excitement of being back together (you can let it out and shout when you get in your vehicle) and move along to our parking lots.
There is much more being done to ensure that our “Riverstone Relaunch” is a great and safe success but these are just a few of the things that will help you feel comfortable and at home in your church! Each of you have been GREATLY missed and we very much looking forward to seeing you live and in person on May 31st!
